Bored & Hungry will open a second restaurant in Seoul

Bored & Hungry, the restaurant at Bored Ape Yacht Club, has officially announced a second location. The restaurant plans to open its first international restaurant in Seoul, South Korea, in its Gangnam neighborhood this fall.

Food Fighters Universe (FFU) has officially signed an agreement with the Korean company Hungry Dao to open its first international site. The announcement comes just under three months after co-founders Andy Nguyen, Kevin Seo and Phillip Huynh opened the first Bored & Hungry restaurant in Long Beach, California. Born Ape-themed restaurants are set to bring their trademark, featuring the iconic Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT #6184, to Seoul’s Gangnam District.

Similar to store offerings in California, the restaurant’s menu includes “Bored” beef smashburgers and “Mutant” vegan smashburgers. Restaurant lovers will also be able to use cryptocurrency. While the Long Beach location was initially designed to be a pop-up, it quickly gained popularity with fans. Now, the Seoul location will become the first licensed Bored & Hungry location, opening in the capital of K-Pop and K-Wave. Stay tuned this fall for more details on the Seoul opening.
