Harex InfoTech – Seoul National University signs MoU to support developing countries with shared user-centric platform

Harex InfoTech (CEO Kyung Yang Park), provider of user-centric shared payment platform “UBpay”, and Seoul National University Graduate School of Public Administration (Dean Kwangho Jung), Ranked 11th in social policy and administration in the QS World 2021 University Rankings, have joined forces on a project to support low-income people in developing countries. The two organizations plan to boost the economic activities of people living in developing countries through their user-centric shared platform project.

The two organizations met on April 28 to sign the “User-Centered Shared Platform Project in Developing Countries” and start working on the project.

According to the agreement, the two organizations will establish a relationship to co-develop the project. Seoul National University Graduate School of Public Administration plans to support the implementation of the User-Centered Shared Payment Platform Project by helping to create favorable conditions and conducting research on the policies.

Harex InfoTech has agreed to select local partners to operate the shared user-centric payment platform in their country and provide operations support. User-centric shared platform expected to contribute to financial inclusion and economic growth in developing countries through fintech innovations including screenless cash dispensers called cash dispensers and payment button calculators .

Harex InfoTech CEO Kyung Yang Park said, “Harex InfoTech supports safe and secure transactions between users and businesses through our ‘UBpay platform’, which allows users to connect directly with their financial institutions on their smartphones and request payment authorization without an intermediary ”, and“ With this agreement, user-centric payment services as well as other convenient services, such as membership points, ordering at advance and pick-up, ordering and delivery and calling and paying services for taxis, will be provided to people in developing countries to improve people’s quality of life while maximizing income and profit of the company.
