Watch: Im Siwan, Go Ah Sung, Son Hyun Joo and Park Yong Woo take on daring characters in “Tracer”


The latest character teaser for MBC’s upcoming drama “Tracer” provides a sneak peek at its main characters!

“Tracer” is a new drama that takes place at the National Tax Service. Im Siwan plays Hwang Dong Joo, a new team leader of the Seoul regional bureau’s investigation bureau, while Go Ah Sung plays Seo Hye Young, another team member from the Seoul regional bureau who has not afraid to face the cowardly world head-on. Son Hyun Joo plays In Tae Joon, the Seoul regional office commissioner who dreams of becoming something bigger. Park Yong Woo plays Oh Young, who was once the ace of the National Tax Service, but is now the section chief who doesn’t believe in working. The drama is written by screenwriter Kim Hyun Jung and directed by director Lee Seung Young of “Voice 2” and “The Missing”.

The new teaser begins with Hwang Dong Joo handing in his resignation letter saying, “Thank you for the kindness you have shown me with ingratitude.” This arouses curiosity in his character as he pursues all manner of money-related corruption in his own way.

Hateful Seo Hye Young gives insight into her exceptional intuition as she announces a one-on-one battle with dirty money as she yells, “I can’t stop like that!”

In Tae Joon, an ambitious dreamer who dreams of becoming the head of the National Tax Service, reveals the face of a meticulous strategist, saying, “Let’s decide if he’s worthy enough to be held in our hands.”

Oh Young is a realist, and he joins the pursuit of bad money by saying, “I never said I was going to give up.
