West Village restaurant in the borough’s hottest named car showroom


WEST VILLAGE, NY – It’s not everyday that a Michelin-starred Korean fine-dining restaurant partners with a luxury car company to open a new restaurant. But that’s exactly what happened with the newly opened Onjium at Genesis, which was just named one of Manhattan’s hottest restaurants.

Eater NY food magazine and news website continues to operate listing of Manhattan’s “15 Hottest New Restaurants” it updates at the start of each month, and the Korean restaurant in West Village was one of three new additions to December’s ranking.

The restaurant is called Onjium at Genesis House. It is located at 40A 10th Avenue in a luxury car room.

Onjium owns other Michelin-starred restaurants in Korea and has partnered with automaker Genesis to open its outpost in New York City.

Here are the opening hours of the restaurant, it is closed on Mondays:

Apart from its cars on display, Onjium at Genesis House also has a tea pavilion, library and scholar’s room, curated by a luxury book publisher with special edition books, items exhibition and unique accessories.
